YAGYA Guide: How to perform Yagya at Home MATERIAL needed: You can easily find these at any Indian store or online: PROCESS: 1) Perform a purification ritual using water (pavitrikaranam) or visualize cleansing energy washing over you. 2) Invocation of deities and set your intentions (sankalpam). 3) Place 1-2 big pieces of dry coconut (khopra) and camphor (kapoor) in the copper pyramid and light fire. 4) Chant mantras. At the end of chanting each mantra, say Swaha and as you say Swaha, offer herbs into the fire. Also offer Ghee in the fire as needed. You can chant Ganesha mantra 11 times, then Gayatri mantra 11 times and then Durga mantra 11 times or 24 times each. You can also chant any other mantras for the deity you are doing yagya for. This is the simplest yagya process. If you have time, you can make it more elaborate: do pranayam, visarjanam, shanti paath etc. Let the fire burn away doubts, obstacles, and negative karma. Let it awaken your higher purpose and connect you to Divine energy. May this Navratri Yagya be your gateway to transformation! 🔥 |
