👶 The Story Behind His Appearance (today)
King Dasharatha of Ayodhya and his queens—Kaushalya, Kaikeyi, and Sumitra—were blessed with four divine sons after a sacred yagna. Lord Rām, born to Queen Kaushalya at noon on this day, came to earth to restore balance, slay the demon king Ravana, and set an eternal example of righteousness, truth, and devotion.

That is why doing a YAGYA exactly at noon today (Ram Navami) is considered very auspicious. We performed our Ram Navami yagya today between 12-1. Thank you all who sponsored.

Significance of the word RĀM
Sometimes, all it takes is one name—just one vibration—to cross the ocean of samsāra.

In the Ramayana, it was the sacred name RĀM that made the impossible possible. As the monkey army built the bridge to Lanka, it was this name—etched on stones—that made them float. Those heavy rocks. They floated. Just because this word was etched on them!

It is this very name that Lord Hanuman has engraved upon his heart, literally and eternally.

And this name—RĀM—is not just a name. It is the essence of the Vishnu Sahasranāma.

After hearing the thousand names of Lord Vishnu (Vishnu Sahasranama), Ma Parvati asked Lord Shiva:

“Is there a simpler way to receive the same spiritual benefit as the thousand names of Lord Vishnu?”

With a smile, Lord Shiva replied with this divine shloka:

श्री राम राम रामेति रमे रामे मनोरमे।
सहस्रनाम तत्तुल्यं राम नाम वरानने॥

Shree Rām Rām Rāmeti, Rame Rāme Mano Rame,
Sahasra-Nām Tat-Tulyam, Rām-Nām Varānane.

“O beautiful-faced Parvati, repeating the name of RĀM just once
brings the same merit as chanting the thousand names of Vishnu.”

🙏 Let your heart rest in that one name today.
